Call to Order
Meeting was called to order at 7:11 pm with the following Board Members in attendance: Jim Loring, Dan Griffin, Gregg Zink, Greg Denny, Colleen Hodges, Radu Roman, and Emmanuel Flores.
Minutes from Last Meeting
Board member, Emmanuel Flores, read the minutes from the last Board meeting on June 06, 2012, Greg Zink motioned to accept the minutes; Dan Griffin second the motion. There was a unanimous vote by all present to accept the minutes.
Summer Fest
Kevin Shifely present to provide overview of festivities
Location will be at Beach Park again. It was a hit last year.
Catering (hotdogs, brats, chicken)….same amounts as last year, 100 of each plus buns, salads, ketchup, mustard, and relish
Taylor rental, same stuff as last year. (snow cone, dunk tank, PA system, coolers and all the other stuff we got last year)
Port -o- potty (2)
Special trash pick-up from Groot
Tentative Schedule:
7:00a.m. Fishing derby
9-10 a.m. Taylor rental drop off
12:00 Cater drop off and lunch begins
1:00 cardboard boat race
2:00 water balloon toss and other kids games
5:00 dinner (or seconds)
7:00 Clean up begins
8:30 Movie at the beach begins
10:00 the movie ends
Kevin will not be available the day of Summer Fest.
Need to advertise Summer Fest
Ann to place ad in the Acorn
No entertainment
Dan Griffin volunteered to grill in lieu of having catering service
Two grills to be rented from Taylor rental
Flyers to be sent out one week prior to Summer Fest
Cardboard boat races for both kids and adults
Volunteers needed (set-up, clean-up, cooking, water balloons, movie, etc.)
Treasurer’s Report (Dan Griffin)
Presented Balance sheet (Profit & Loss) to Secretary (Emmanuel Flores).
Itemized Association expenses and income.
Colleen Hodges motioned to accept the Treasurer’s report, Greg Denny second the motion. All in favor.

a. Picnic permit requirements
To include the need to rent a porta potty and special garbage pick-up for groups of 10 people or more.
Channel bubbler status.
o Needs replacement:
§ Its under sized.
§ Costs $825
§ Needs additional lines and bubbler, approximately $1,500.00
o Channel filling with sediment
Bubbler doesn’t do what its intended to do
Needs a couple more bids to replace and look at long term relief
Power consumption/aggregation rates
o Non-issue
